I was surprised to see some of the negative reviews on this pack. I have to say that The pack has worked great for me. I've used it on several overnight hiking trips and a few car camping trips. There are a few cons but all bags will have there cons. We'll go over the pros first.
Pros
- First, The price is incredible. You wont find a bag of better quality and more features for less.
- Material is very durable (worth the extra wight in my opinion)
- Very spacious. I would suggest this bag for summer trips of 2-3 days and winter trips of 1-2.
- Pretty comfortable on a 4 to 5 mile hike.
- plenty of "quick access" space.
- although unnecessary, the rain cover is convenient.
- Plenty of straps for external equipment such as an ax or pick.
